About The Opportunity

Reporting to the Warehouse Team Lead and Assistant Manager in lieu, the Stores Clerk A assists in distributing and receiving pharmaceutical inventory for the NS Provincial Drug Distribution Program (PDDP). Responsibilities include picking, packing, receiving, and replenishing products in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail is essential to ensure accurate fulfillment of drug requirements for pharmacies, nursing homes, and other healthcare organizations in NS. Warehouse tasks are managed via RF wireless handheld devices; comfort with technology is necessary, along with a team-oriented mindset.


About You

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • Grade XII or equivalent
  • Experience in a warehouse setting (asset)
  • One year of related experience (preferred)
  • Experience with computerized inventory control systems (desired)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team player with a positive, collaborative attitude
  • Ability to meet physical demands, including receiving stock cases
  • Flexibility to work hours including some Sundays
  • Proficiency in other languages, especially French, is a plus

Hours

  • Permanent full-time (100%), 70 hours bi-weekly

Compensation and Benefits

$21.99 - $23.63 hourly. Successful candidates may be eligible for benefits including health, dental, travel, disability, life insurance, and a defined benefit pension plan.
