Job summary

IMT Elite Finish is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to manage incoming and outgoing shipments, verify quantities, inspect materials, and maintain accurate inventory records in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

We seek candidates with 3–5 years in similar roles, forklift operation experience, and strong attention to detail. This on-site role emphasizes safety, collaboration with internal teams, and timely order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in a similar role, forklift operator experience
• Experience with inventory management systems
• Ability to read packing slips and shipping documents

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documents
• Inspect incoming materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report them according to company procedures
• Record received goods in an inventory management system
• Label, organize, and store materials safely in designated warehouse locations
• Communicate receiving discrepancies to suppliers, purchasing, or management
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company procedures
• Generate shipping documentation such as bills of lading, packing slips, and carrier labels
• Track outgoing shipments and assist with resolving delivery issues
• Maintain and track accurate inventory records and transaction documentation
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as required
• Follow all company policies and health and safety regulations
• Carry out additional duties as assigned

Position Summary

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for managing the movement of incoming and outgoing goods within the organization. This role ensures that shipments are accurately received, inspected, documented, stored, and distributed. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk maintains inventory accuracy and prepares products for both shipment and internal departments to support efficient warehouse production operations.
