IMT Elite Finish in Canada is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to manage the movement of incoming and outgoing goods with precision and reliability. You will verify shipments, document inventory, and prepare orders to support production and distribution across the facility.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in a similar role, with forklift experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams.

Qualifications

• GED or equivalent is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience operating forklift is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documents.
• Inspect incoming materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report them according to company procedures.
• Record received goods in an inventory management system.
• Label, organize, and store materials safely in designated warehouse locations.
• Communicate receiving discrepancies to suppliers, purchasing, or management.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company procedures.
• Generate shipping documentation such as bills of lading, packing slips, and carrier labels.
• Track outgoing shipments and assist with resolving delivery issues.
• Maintain and track accurate inventory records and transaction documentation.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as required.
• Follow all company policies and health and safety regulations.

Position Summary

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for managing the movement of incoming and outgoing goods within the organization. This role ensures that shipments are accurately received, inspected, documented, stored, and distributed. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk maintains inventory accuracy and prepares products for both shipment and internal departments to support efficient warehouse production operations.

Education & Experience
