Triton Environmental Consultants, Ltd. is looking for a reliable Shipper II in Vaughan, Canada, to manage order processing, packing, and shipment tasks at our facility.

The role involves coordinating delivery schedules, documentation, and final inspection to ensure accuracy and on-time dispatch. Responsibilities include forklift operation, load security, and inventory control, with attention to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms.

Responsibilities

• Review orders and prepare delivery or pickup schedule.
• Obtain approval for release from accounts receivable as applicable.
• Prepare packing slips and/or bills of lading and other shipping documentation.
• Conduct final inspection and tag nonconforming products as appropriate.
• Scan completed shipments and stage material for shipment.
• Retrieve product from storage and accessories as appropriate.
• Inspect packaging and load product; replace damaged packaging as needed.
• Operate lift truck and perform pre-shift inspections; record results.
• Load/unload transport trucks and ensure shipment is properly secured; record results.
• Maintain component and hardware inventory and notify when stock is required.

Job Requirements

Order Processing

1. Review work order, including special instructions
2. Prepare delivery / pick up schedule
3. Obtain approval for release from accounts receivable as applicable
4. Prepare packing slip and/or bill of lading and other appropriate shipping documentation
5. Conduct final inspection (tag and segregate nonconforming product as appropriate)
6. Scan completed shipments
7. Stage material at shipping / loading dock for shipment

Preparation of Material/Product

1. Retrieve product from storage location
2. Retrieve accessories, hardware and/or components as appropriate

Packaging

1. Inspect packaging
2. Package / load product as required
3. Replace/correct damaged packaging

Lift Truck Operation and Inspection

1. Lift truck certification
2. Operation of lift truck as required
3. Perform pre-shift lift truck inspection
4. Record results

Load/Unload Inspection

1. Ensure truck is properly docked/chocked
2. Load/unload transport trucks as required
3. Ensure shipment is properly secured
4. Record results

Inventory

1. Maintain component, accessory and hardware inventory
2. Advise appropriate department when stock is required

Skills and Abilities

1. Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English.
2. Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
3. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilograms.
