Job summary

Wakefield Canada Inc. is seeking a Shipping Coordinator for a 3-6 month contract in Toronto, ON. The role focuses on receiving, storing, and dispatching products while maintaining accurate inventory and coordinating with internal teams and 3rd party carriers.

Responsibilities include ERP transactions, inbound/outbound scheduling, handling customer inquiries, and supporting monthly reports. A strong background in warehousing and supply chain concepts is preferred.

Qualifications

• Post secondary education in a related field is an asset.
• Experience in forecasting an order schedule based on inventory levels is valued.
• Strong Microsoft Suite and Internet navigation skills are important.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Customer Care, Sales, Regional Distribution Centers, and Transportation Planner on daily requirements.
• Process ERP transactions (ship confirms/PO receipts/stock transfers, RMAs) and review weekly open order reports.
• Schedule inbound appointments for receipts and/or pickups and manage returns.
• Participate in physical inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
