Job summary

AGF Group Inc. is seeking a dynamic Shipping Coordinator to join our on-site Ottawa team. This full-time role requires coordinating daily shipping schedules, liaising with departments and third-party carriers, and maintaining clear dispatch records.

Strong communication and organization are essential. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in a similar role, some French language ability is a plus, and proficiency with Excel and Google Workspace is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily shipping schedules and dispatch procedures.
• Coordinate with other departments and supply chain units for seamless operations.
• Communicate with third-party haulage companies and customers.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders and maintain accurate dispatch records.
• Prepare reports (progress, fuel, etc.) and shipping documents for next-day deliveries.
• Quickly resolve shipping-related issues to maintain service quality.
• Perform other duties as required to support the shipping department.

About the Role - Your main responsibilities will include:

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily shipping schedules and dispatch procedures;

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a similar role;

• The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $55,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.Full insurance coverage (health, dental, and vision) from day one;
