Job summary

Hitachi Energy Canada Inc. is seeking a Shipper & Receiver to support the efficient movement of materials in Stoney Creek, Ontario. You will coordinate shipments, maintain inventory records, inspect incoming materials, and document products for transportation.

The role operates on an afternoon shift (3:30 p.m. – 2:00 a.m., Monday–Thursday) within a dynamic manufacturing environment focused on accuracy, safety, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in transformer repair.
  • Experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control, or logistics coordination within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proficiency in record keeping and inventory documentation.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and material-handling equipment safely and effectively.
  • Availability to work the afternoon shift, Monday through Thursday, from 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.

Job Description: The Opportunity Join Hitachi Energy and play an important role in supporting the efficient movement of materials that help power critical energy infrastructure.
