How you’ll Make an Impact
  • Exécuter le processus de planification des ventes et des opérations de l’usine et intégrer les prévisions dans des plans de production équilibrés.
  • Gérer la planification et l’approvisionnement du matériel pour assurer la disponibilité en temps opportun du matériel pour la production.
  • Superviser la planification générale, l’ordonnancement détaillé, la gestion de la capacité et le suivi de l’exécution dans l’ensemble des chaînes de production.
  • Diriger les activités d’inventaire et d’entrepôt pour soutenir les objectifs de l’usine et améliorer l’exactitude des stocks.
  • Gérer la planification et l’exécution de la logistique pour les envois entrants et sortants.
  • Améliorer les méthodes de livraison des matériaux pour améliorer l’efficacité de la production.
  • Favoriser les initiatives d’amélioration continue, y compris les causes fondamentales et les activités de lutte contre les mesures.

In this role, you will manage materials operations at the largest transformer manufacturing facility within a leading global transformer business. Based in Varennes, your work will directly support Canada’s critical electric infrastructure during a period of significant growth. You will oversee end‑to‑end materials activities, including planning, procurement, production scheduling, inventory, warehousing and logistics, ensuring reliable material flow to support production and customer delivery. You will run the factory’s Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, translating sales forecasts into balanced, executable production plans while accounting for functional constraints and long‑run requirements. By strengthening execution discipline and driving continuous improvement, you will improve material availability, inventory accuracy, operational performance, and delivery reliability. This role offers meaningful exposure to complex manufacturing operations and cross‑functional collaboration within a global value chain.

How You’ll Make an Impact (English)
  • Run the factory Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process and integrate forecasts into balanced production plans.
  • Manage materials planning and procurement to ensure timely availability of materials for production.
  • Oversee master planning, detailed scheduling, capacity management and execution monitoring across production lines.
  • Direct inventory and warehouse operations to support factory goals and improve inventory accuracy.
  • Manage logistics planning and execution for inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Improve material delivery methods to enhance production efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including root cause and countermeasure activities.
  • Run kaizen activities to eliminate waste and improve processes.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
Your Background (English)
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • At least 10 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, preferably within a PP module.
  • Ability to work cross‑functionally within a global value chain.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Able to work independently, apply root‑cause approaches, and manage priorities with a sense of urgency.
  • Sound communication skills, teamwork orientation, and a customer‑and quality‑focused mindset.
