Job Description

1. Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery trucks
2. Pack and unpack goods for shipping and receiving
3. Inspect all incoming shipments for condition and verify accuracy against purchase orders
4. Distribute received shipments to respective departments within the store
5. Process outgoing shipments to suppliers and other Long & McQuade locations
6. Work with standard shipping documents and online shipping systems
7. Maintain shipping logs and properly file all paperwork
8. Keep shipping/receiving area clean and organized and ensure compliance with health and safety standards
9. Provide assistance to co-workers in stocking and restocking of merchandise
10. Provide assistance to co-workers in general housekeeping and store maintenance
