Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED, or one to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Knowledge of ACCPAC, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and shipping software.
  • Licensed to use forklift; familiar with pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels via cycle counts, annual inventory, and spot checking.
  • Kit assembly (i.e., place kit components into a shipping box).
  • Demonstrate knowledge and accurately apply all computer-related duties as appropriate and scheduled.
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments for discrepancies, damages and report problems promptly.
  • Store materials and supplies according to part number and/or description by safely performing physical tasks such as lifting, carrying and stacking by hand or safely using material handling equipment.
  • Sign for incoming deliveries, load and unload delivery trailers/trucks by hand or with material handling equipment.
  • Maintain shipping and receiving documentation in a neat and orderly manner.
  • Maintain warehouse and receiving area in safe and orderly manner.
  • Must be able to work unsupervised.
  • Prepare products for shipment according to client orders/instructions by retrieving from the warehouse, packaging, weighing and documenting correct shipment details.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for general warehouse work by performing the following duties.   • Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs;
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form;
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations;
  • Knowledge of ACCPAC, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and shipping software;
  • Licensed to use forklift;
  • Familiar with use of pallet jacks;
  • Safely use utility knife and packaging tape dispensers;
Salary range
  • $22-24/hour
