Job summary

Fort Garry Industries in Mississauga is hiring a Shipper/Receiver to join our warehouse team. You will receive stock, prepare shipments, organize inventory, and help ensure orders go out accurately and on time.

The role requires at least 1 year of warehouse experience, lifting 75–100 lbs, and the use of RF scanners or barcode guns. You must have good communication, teamwork, and a willingness to work Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with aftermarket/heavy-duty parts is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming product and verify quantities against documents.
• Prepare shipping documents for outbound products.
• Package, label, and ship customer orders with accuracy.
• Inspect stock for wear or damage and report issues.
• Replenish inventory in designated warehouse bins.
• May assist with remanufacturing intake of worn brake cores.
• May secure cargo for transport and occasionally deliver parts.
• Other duties as assigned.

Our MISSISSAUGA BRANCH has an exciting opportunity for a Shipper Receiver to join our team!

What will you Do…

The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, packing and shipping orders, managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse. You will work with your branch team members to deliver a high-quality customer experience that exceeds customer expectations through the following tasks:

• Receive incoming product and match the quantity of items received to the shipping documents
• Prepare shipping documents for outbound products
• Package, label, and ship customer orders, verifying order accuracy before shipping
• Inspect stock items for wear or defects and report any damaged or missing stock to management.
• Replenish inventory items in designated warehouse storage bins
• May receive, sort, and organize worn brake shoe cores for shipping to our remanufacturing facility
• May secure cargo to a vehicle
• May occasionally deliver parts with FGI vehicle
• Other duties as assigned

What are we looking for…

• Must have1 year of general warehouse experience, shipping and receiving, or order picker experience using an RF Scanner or barcode gun, combined with a high school diploma or other equivalency certificate
• Must be ableto meet the physical requirements: Lift up to 75-100lbs, frequent standing and walking, reading small print and numbers
• Experience operating a forklift, using a RF scanner and familiarity with aftermarket parts or heavy-duty parts is preferred but not required
• A valid driver’s license and a recent driver’s abstract demonstrating no major infractions is preferred but not required
• Must have open availability including Saturdays
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and other standard office equipment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication skills, including both written and verbal
• Team-oriented, adaptable, with a commitment to safety excellence
