Fort Garry Industries Edmonton West Branch is seeking a Delivery Driver to service designated routes, delivering FGI products while building strong customer relationships and ensuring a high-quality experience.

The role requires遵守 safety standards; lifting 75–100lbs, and open availability including Saturdays. Edmonton area knowledge is a plus, with competitive wages and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 5 years of total driving experience with no major driving infractions; knowledge of EDMONTON and surrounding areas is required.
• Minimum 1-2 years of courier-related driving with strong customer service experience; high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift up to 75–100lbs occasionally and endure long periods of sitting.
• Open availability including Saturdays is required.
• Prior experience with transporting dangerous goods is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver FGI products to customers on designated routes while building strong relationships.
• Load materials into the vehicle and secure with straps, bracing, or padding.
• Check load documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Report missing or damaged products to management and follow up.
• Pick up cores and return merchandise; tag at the branch for vendor return.
• Assist inside warehouse between deliveries.
• Other duties as assigned.

Our EDMONTON WEST BRANCH has an exciting opportunity for a DELIVERY DRIVER to join our team!

What You Will Do:

The Delivery Driver delivers FGI products on their designated routes while building strong relationships with customers. You will work with your branch team members to deliver a high-quality customer experience that exceeds customer expectations through the following tasks:

• Deliver FGI products to customers on designated routes while building strong relationships with customers
• Load materials into the vehicle and install straps, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit
• Check all load–related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate
• Report any missing or damaged product to management and follow up
• Pick up cores and any return merchandise and tag at the branch for vendor return
• Assist inside warehouse between deliveries
• Other duties as assigned

What We Require:

• 5 years of total driving experience with no major driving infractions, combined with strong knowledge of EDMONTON and surrounding areas — you know the traffic patterns, not just the roads
• Minimum 1-2 years of courier-related driving with strong customer service experience preferred, combined with a high school diploma or other equivalency certificate
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements: Occasionally lift up to 75 – 100lbs, sit for long periods of time, drive an FGI vehicle on roadways and highways
• Must have open availability including Saturdays
• Previous experience with transporting dangerous goods is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with aftermarket parts or heavy-duty parts is preferred but not required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and other standard office equipment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication skills, including both written and verbal
• Team-oriented, adaptable, with a commitment to safety excellence
