Job summary

Trudell Healthcare Solutions Inc. in London, Ontario is seeking a self-motivated Shipper/Receiver to support receiving, shipping and storage of medical devices in our distribution facility.

As part of a collaborative team, you will ensure accurate inventory, operate RF scanners, and follow safety procedures, with forklift certification preferred. We offer competitive compensation, paid vacation, and comprehensive benefits including health and dental plans.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma required.
• Forklift certification required.
• Dangerous Goods Training beneficial.
• WHMIS and safety training required.
• RF scanners and computerized receiving/shipping systems experience.
• Able to lift 30-50 lbs.
• 1+ year shipping/receiving warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process all incoming inventory and equipment.
• Store items in correct warehouse locations.
• Follow return authorization procedures.
• Inspect and verify incoming goods.
• Maintain warehouse bin location system accuracy.
• Conduct daily cycle counts.
• Support special projects as needed.
• Communicate issues affecting service or product quality.
• Work in a warehouse environment with interruptions.

The Position:

As the Shipper/Receiver, under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, you will provide support to our distribution system by safely receiving, shipping and storing items.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Ensure receiving and processing of all incoming inventory supplies and equipment is completed.
• Ensure items are stored appropriately to their desired location.
• Ensure the return authorization process is properly followed.
• Maintain inspections and verification of incoming goods.
• Ensure inventory location is based upon warehouse bin location system and safe warehouse practices.
• Maintain accurate updated warehouse bin location system.
• Ensure the completion of daily cycle counts.
• Ensure cooperation with special projects as required.
• Ensure communication is effective and informative regarding issues which may affect the quality of service or products
• Working in a warehouse environment.
• Tolerating frequent interruptions.
• Compensation based on a regular work week of thirty-seven and one half (37.5) working hours.

As An Ideal Candidate, You Have

• Secondary school diploma.
• Certification to operate a forklift
• Dangerous Goods Training
• Ability to successfully complete WHMIS and other Health and Safety training.
• Competency with safe operation of forklifts, pallet trucks and stretch wrappers.
• Minimum one (1) year related warehouse shipping and receiving experience (preferred)
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, Outlook
• Ability to use RF Scanners and computerized shipping system.
• Ability to use data terminals and computerized receiving/ shipping system.
• Ability to lift and carry 30-50 lbs.
