Job summary

GreenFox Windows & Doors is seeking a detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to support daily warehouse operations in Alberta. The role focuses on accuracy, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include preparing shipping documents, organizing daily work, packaging goods, inspecting items for defects, and maintaining precise inventory records. On-site team collaboration and adherence to procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or materials handling preferred.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License and clean Driver Abstract.
• Must live in the greater Edmonton area or be willing to relocate.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to identify issues quickly and solve problems effectively.
• Energetic, self-motivated, and able to work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and sign off on shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and related paperwork.
• Review shipping and receiving orders to plan daily work effectively.
• Pack goods for shipment and prepare identifying information and shipping instructions.
• Check incoming and outgoing units for defects or damage.
• Ensure all units are in good condition before shipping or receiving is completed.
• Carefully handle finished units, glass, parts, materials, equipment, and installation tools to prevent breakage or damage.
• Follow standard operating procedures for all shipping and receiving activities.
• Maintain accurate warehouse data related to materials movement.
• Communicate material shortages and quality issues to production management.
• Receive and record the movement of parts, supplies, materials, equipment, and stock.
• Promptly unload trucks and deliveries, then sort and stock received items.
• Maintain accurate daily log sheets, scan inventory, and complete counts carefully.
• Keep secure and accurate records of incoming and outgoing inventory.
• Pack and unpack materials as needed.
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments to maintain quality control.
• Help clean and organize the warehouse and exterior yard.
• Operate a forklift, hand truck, or other equipment when required.
• Use equipment and tools properly to help keep them in good working condition.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area at all times.
• Support other warehouse-related duties as needed.
