Giant Tiger Wholesale in Johnstown, Ontario is hiring a permanent, full-time Shipper (Overnights) to operate forklifts and pallet jacks, prepare and lane wrapped pallets, and load trucks. Monday–Friday, 10:00 pm to 6:30 am, with paid machine training and in-house certification. Attractive benefits, overnight premiums, and a supportive safety-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Completion of High School.
• Experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience with a Warehouse Management System.
• Experience operating a forklift or similar machine.
• Positive attitude and safety-conscious mindset.
• Class G2 or higher driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in a high-traffic warehouse setting.
• Verify and organize wrapped pallets; prepare and lane them to the correct location.
• Load wrapped pallets onto trucks with care and precision.
• Maintain a daily productivity count and report results.
• Support other departments as directed by the supervisor.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Drive forklifts and low lift pallet jacks through high trafficked areas with a focus on safe and efficient operation Verify and organize wrapped pallets Prepare and lane wrapped pallets, ensuring they in the correct pallet location Load wrapped pallets onto trucks with care and precision Maintain a daily productivity count Support other departments when necessary as directed by the supervisor

What You’ll Bring:

Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety and complies with Ontario Safety and Health Act (OSHA), and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) standards Capable of sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting heavy objects throughout shift Comfortable in a noisy, fast-paced environment and operating forklift in confined areas Punctual, self-motivated, attention to detail and spatially aware of surroundings Basic math and PC skills As part of your onboarding, you willberequiredto complete three days of paid machine training and successfully obtain in-house certification. Successful machine certification is a mandatory condition of employment as it isan occupational requirement.

Assets You May Have:

Completion of High School; Experience in a warehouse environment Experience with a Warehouse Management System Experience operating a forklift or similar machine Positive attitude Class G2 or higher driver’s licence

When You’ll Work: Monday-Friday, 10:00 pm to 6:30 am

Hourly Rate $21.00
