Job summary

Giant Tiger is hiring a Warehouse Order Picker for our Johnstown, Ontario distribution centre. You’ll pick orders, stack pallets, and ensure accurate shipments for hundreds of stores.

This role requires standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and safe operation of an electric pallet truck in a fast-paced environment. You will undergo paid machine training, obtain in-house certification, and benefit from strong health, retirement, and growth programs.

Qualifications

• Must complete three days of paid machine training and obtain in-house certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift.
• Must be able to stand, walk, climb stairs and work in a noisy environment.
• Experience with voice picking or Manhattan WMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders to supply over 270 Giant Tiger stores across Canada.
• Pile boxes onto skids ensuring safe, secure, and accurate stacks.
• Operate an electric double pallet truck safely and efficiently.
• Match picked skids with outbound license plate numbers and verify accuracy.
• Maintain clean, neat and orderly work area; meet shipment deadlines.
