Shipper

HAWKESBURY, ONTARIO

IKO Industries is a manufacturer of quality commercial and residential roofing products and part of the IKO Group of Companies. We are currently looking for Shippers to join our team in Hawkesbury, Ontario. Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor, the Shipper will work in a team environment to ensure daily loading and unloading as required.

SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive and process outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment.
• Verify accuracy of orders and ensure correct quantities and items are included in each shipment.
• Package products securely to prevent damage during transit.
• Label shipments with appropriate shipping labels and documentation, including packing slips, bills of lading, and customs forms as required.
• Assist with inventory management tasks, including stock replenishment and cycle counting.
• Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company policies.
• Keep work area clean and organized to maintain a safe and efficient shipping environment.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with shipping regulations and customs documentation is a plus.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as required.
• Bilingualism is an asset.
