Job summary

Securitas Canada is seeking an experienced Shift Security Supervisor to join our team in Milton, Ontario. You will supervise a team of frontline security guards, respond to incidents, conduct investigations, and coordinate with law enforcement and mall management. A valid Ontario Security License and CPR/First Aid are required, with at least 1 year of supervisor experience.

Schedule is Monday to Friday from 4:00 PM to midnight. A valid G driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario Security License is required.
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures, including emergency response.
• Minimum of 1 year of security supervisor experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of frontline Security Guards.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies per client CEMP.
• Conduct investigations and complete incident reports with stakeholders.
• Consult with law enforcement, fire, EMS, tenants and mall management.
• Maintain compliance with Securitas procedures and client mall protocols.
• Monitor CCTV, access control, alarms and communications systems.
• Strive for customer service excellence with a 5-star approach.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise and support a team of frontline Security Guards.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in line with client's Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan (CEMP)
• Conduct investigations, complete incident reports, and follow up with key stakeholders.
• Consult with law enforcement, fire departments, EMS, tenants, and mall management.
• Maintain compliance with Securitas operating procedures and client mall protocols.
• Monitor and manage CCTV, access control,alarm, and communications systems.
• Ensure customer service excellence with a 5-star approach to all patrons.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Ontario Security License.
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response.
• Minimum of 1 year of security supervisor experience is required.
• Strong communication and written skills including incident report writing.
• Leadership skills including being able to manage a diverse team.
• Ability to follow procedure and be detail oriented.

A valid G driver’s license is required. Successful candidates must provide a recent driver’s abstract as a condition of employment.
