Job summary

Starbucks Corp. in Vancouver is seeking a Shift Supervisor who will assist the store manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts.

As a team lead, you will deploy partners and delegate tasks to create the Starbucks Experience for our customers by providing legendary service and maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment. You will model our guiding principles, train new partners, and give coaching to help the team deliver consistent, high-quality beverages and products

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service in retail or restaurant environment.
• Ability to direct the work of others.
• Effective oral communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager in executing store operations during shifts.
• Lead partners and delegate tasks to deliver the Starbucks Experience.
• Maintain a calm demeanor during high volume to keep operations on standard.
• Ensure health, safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.
• Provide coaching and feedback to partners during shifts.
• Open and close duties as assigned.
