Job summary

Mark’s is seeking a PT Shift Leader to create great customer experiences, guiding the team and stepping in for store leadership as needed. You’ll engage customers, help shoppers find products quickly, and model leadership for the team.

This role leverages your retail experience and coaching skills to maintain store standards, drive performance, and support a positive, well-organized shopping environment for our guests in Canada.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of retail experience.
• Minimum 6 months experience acting as a mentor or coach.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer experiences to support your team achieve performance targets.
• Provide mentorship, coaching and feedback to the team.
• Manage the operations of the store in the absence of management including key holding tasks, opening, closing responsibilities, etc.
• Ensure store upkeep and cleanliness, including restocking, seasonal changeover, inventory, pricing and signing are accounted for through staff supervision.

Job Description

As a PT Shift Leader at Mark’s, you will create great experiences by engaging with customers to ensure they find what they are looking for quickly and easily. You will also draw on your previous retail or leadership skills to be a role model to the team as well as lead the store when needed.

Our typical hiring range is between $16.35 and $22.00 per hour. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job‑related knowledge, skills and competencies, store size and market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role‑specific requirements.
