Job summary

Cleo in Kelowna is seeking a Shift Leader to support daily store operations and deliver an exceptional in-store experience for customers. You will lead the sales floor, help teammates meet goals, and ensure top-notch service across our fashion brands.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will drive loyalty, maintain visual standards, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment. A strong retail mindset and flexible availability are required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail or customer service experience, with leadership exposure.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving team performance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to motivate a team.
• Excellent customer service and selling skills.
• Understanding of retail operations including visual merchandising and loss prevention.
• Organizational and time-management skills; able to manage multiple priorities.
• Able to stand long periods, climb a ladder, and move boxes up to 30 pounds.
• Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations, including achieving sales goals and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Provide on-the-floor leadership in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by following our customer service program.
• Drive customer loyalty by promoting and enrolling customers in our loyalty program.
• Coach, support, and provide feedback to sales associates to help them meet productivity goals and improve performance.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards, including product preparation, displays, and in-store layouts.
• Perform point of sale transactions quickly and accurately.
• Ensure a safe and secure environment for both customers and the store team, following all loss prevention procedures.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support overall store success.
