Job summary

The Salvation Army Grace Manor in Edmonton Centre of Hope is seeking a Shift Lead LPN to oversee resident care and lead the care team. This role focuses on implementing care plans and providing support to Licensed Practical Nurses and Health Care Aides within a faith-based organizational setting.

The Shift Lead LPN will be an active member of the interdisciplinary team, ensuring safe and competent nursing care in line with Edmonton Centre of Hope policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with scope of LPN practice.
• Familiar with care of mental health and geriatric clients.
• Registration and standing as an LPN in Alberta is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor resident care per the care plan and collaborate with leadership.
• Lead and supervise the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Provide staff orientation and mentoring as required.
• Coordinate shift changes and respond to shift reports.
