Job summary

The Salvation Army Canada and Bermuda is seeking a Part-Time Shift Lead LPN for Grace Manor in Edmonton. You will lead the care team on the floor, ensure plans are executed and maintain high nursing standards within the Salvation Army policy framework.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, support staff and families, and participate in quality improvement, safety and regulatory compliance. The role requires strong communication and resident-centered care in a faith-based setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nurse’s Program.
• Active registration with CLPNA.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Certification in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the interdisciplinary care team to ensure consistent resident care planning and delivery.
• Monitor and coordinate care according to resident care plans with the Unit Manager and Alberta Health Services.
• Provide nursing leadership and crisis intervention as needed.
• Oversee staff orientation, performance appraisals and mentorship.
