Job summary

Tim Hortons lead hand at COMPASS GROUP CANADA is responsible for ensuring standards are met across floor, logs, and food safety. You will monitor shift performance, address issues, and assist with training, staffing, and team support.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising in quick-service or food service settings.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to coach and support team members in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with professional issue escalation.

Responsibilities

• Assigning and adjusting station deployment based on operational needs.
• Ensuring food safety, temperature, cleaning and logs are completed on time.
• Conducting floor assessments to meet brand standards, safety and service expectations.
• Reviewing shift handoffs and ensuring tasks are completed, with escalation when needed.
• Recording concerns, incidents, complaints and coaching opportunities for follow-up.
• Assisting with shift coverage and staffing as required.
• Identifying bottlenecks and supporting the team to maintain service levels.
• Supporting training and development of associates while promoting accountability.
• Acting as a professional role model and fostering respectful communication.
• Escalating employee relations, safety and operational concerns to management.
