Empire Roofing Corporation in the GTA is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Roofing Foreman to lead skilled crews on commercial and industrial projects. The role focuses on safe, efficient installation of sheet metal elements, including copings, flashings, cladding, and standing seams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of metal applications experience (cap flashing, cladding, metal roofing).
• Minimum 5 years in a commercial/industrial roofing environment.
• Hands-on experience with Insulated Metal Panels (IMP) and Aluminum Composite Panels (ACP).
• Experience leading or supervising roofing crews.
• Strong ability to read architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong site-measuring skills.
• Valid G driver's licence and reliable transportation.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Working at Heights Certification.
• Able to work flexible hours and travel out of town.
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise sheet metal roofing crews on commercial and industrial projects.
• Oversee installation of sheet metal applications (copings, cap flashings, cladding, metal roofing, flashings, S-locks, standing seams, IMP, ACP).
• Read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, shop drawings, and specs.
• Perform accurate site measurements and ensure materials are fabricated and installed correctly.
• Coordinate daily work activities with crew, project management, and other trades.
• Ensure work meets project specs, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Train, support, and mentor crew members; maintain a positive work environment.
• Identify and resolve installation issues efficiently in the field.
• Maintain site safety, organization, and quality workmanship.

Empire Roofing Corporation is looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Roofing Foreman to join our growing team in the GTA!

We are looking for a motivated, hands-on Sheet Metal Foreman who can oversee skilled crews while ensuring sheet metal installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. What You’ll Do

• Lead and supervise sheet metal roofing crews on commercial and industrial projects.
• Install and oversee the installation of sheet metal applications, including:
  • Metal copings and cap flashings
  • Metal cladding
  • Metal roofing
  • Flashings
  • S-locks and standing seams
  • Insulated Metal Panels (IMP)
  • Aluminum Composite Panels (ACP)
• Read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications.
• Perform accurate site measurements and ensure materials are properly fabricated and installed.
• Coordinate daily work activities with crew members, project management, and other trades.
• Ensure work is completed according to project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Train, support, and mentor crew members while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
• Identify and resolve installation issues efficiently in the field.
• Maintain a strong focus on jobsite safety, organization, and quality workmanship.

What You Bring

• Minimum5 years of experience in metal applications, including cap flashing, cladding, and metal roofing.
• Minimum5 years of experience in a commercial/industrial roofing environment.
• Hands-on experience installingInsulated Metal Panels, Aluminum Composite Panels, metal roofing, and metal cladding.
• Previous experience leading or supervising roofing crews is an asset.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications.

• Strong site-measuring skills.
• ValidG driver's licenceand reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift to50 lbs.
