Job summary

Empire Roofing Corporation is seeking an experienced Skilled Roofing Labourer to join our GTA-based team. You will work on commercial roofing projects, assisting with installations, inspections, and maintenance to uphold safety and quality.

This role emphasizes physical work, TPO system exposure, and collaboration with journeypersons, with opportunities for growth within a respected national contractor known for safety and craftsmanship.

Qualifications

Must have prior roofing labour experience.
Willingness to learn commercial roofing systems (TPO asset).
Physically demanding work including lifting up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions.
Valid Working at Heights Certification.
Basic understanding of workplace safety practices (Ontario standards an asset).

Responsibilities

Assist with installation and replacement of commercial roofing systems, including TPO systems.
Support vapour barrier and insulation installation on flat roof decks.
Participate in new construction and re-roofing projects.
Load, carry, and transport roofing materials and tools safely.
Assist with roof inspections and minor repair work under supervision.
Document basic service activities as directed.
