Empire Roofing Corporation in the GTA is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Roofing Foreman to lead skilled crews on commercial and industrial projects. The role focuses on safe, efficient installation of sheet metal elements, including copings, flashings, cladding, and standing seams.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of metal applications experience (cap flashing, cladding, metal roofing).
Minimum 5 years in a commercial/industrial roofing environment.
Hands-on experience with Insulated Metal Panels (IMP) and Aluminum Composite Panels (ACP).
Experience leading or supervising roofing crews.
Strong ability to read architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Strong site-measuring skills.
Valid G driver's licence and reliable transportation.
Lift up to 50 lbs.
Valid Working at Heights Certification.
Able to work flexible hours and travel out of town.
Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise sheet metal roofing crews on commercial and industrial projects.
Oversee installation of sheet metal applications (copings, cap flashings, cladding, metal roofing, flashings, S-locks, standing seams, IMP, ACP).
Read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, shop drawings, and specs.
Perform accurate site measurements and ensure materials are fabricated and installed correctly.
Coordinate daily work activities with crew, project management, and other trades.
Ensure work meets project specs, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Train, support, and mentor crew members; maintain a positive work environment.
Identify and resolve installation issues efficiently in the field.
Maintain site safety, organization, and quality workmanship.
