Job summary

Multi-Moulures in Saint-Bruno, QC is seeking a production inspector to ensure parts meet dimensional specs. You will read drawings, monitor presses, and document results on a fast-paced metal fabrication shop floor.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in metal fabrication, good communication, and the ability to work as part of a team in a physically demanding environment. On-site work with standard 40-hour weeks and paid benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of experience in metal fabrication preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications.

Responsibilities

• Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications.
• Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment.
• Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions.
• Record information on products inspected.
• Monitor machine during operation.
• Load, feed or place materials into machine.
• Cut, shape and fit materials to form parts and components.
• Check manufactured items for defects and conformance to specifications.
• Keep the work area clean.
