Job summary

JobsMedia.io is seeking a skilled machinist to compute dimensions and tolerances, read engineering drawings, and set up production machinery. The role requires precision, calibration, and ability to report deviations to ensure conformity with specifications.

Responsibilities include inspecting parts with micrometers and calipers, documenting inspections, and operating both conventional and CNC machines in a bilingual environment (English/French).

Qualifications

• Bilingual work environment (English and French)
• 3–5 years of machinist experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints

Responsibilities

• Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts.

• Set up and adjust production machineries/tools.
• Fit and assemble components to close tolerance.
• Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments.
