Job summary

JobsMedia.io is seeking a skilled welder for a permanent full-time role in Quebec. The candidate will work on an industrial manufacturing floor, operating manual and robotic welding systems, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring weld quality meets specifications.

The role requires 3–5 years of welding experience, a trades certificate or diploma, and fluency in French. Workplace is equipped for large metal fabrication, with safety boots and standard PPE provided.

  • Experience: 3–5 years in welding or related field.
  • Proficiency reading welding blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret welding process specifications.
  • Operate manual/semi-automatic welding equipment.
  • Read welding blueprints, drawings and specifications.
  • Inspect welds for standards compliance.
  • Operate flame-cutting equipment.
  • Assemble and fit parts, brazing and torch-straightening as needed.
  • Start up/shut down robotic welding line.
