ABC Recycling is seeking a Shear Operator to operate equipment and the mobile shear-attached machine along with thumb and bucket attachments. This role is primarily based out of Fort St Jonn, BC. The job holder will be responsible for safe operation of a mid-sized excavator with a mobile shear attachment, sorting, and processing scrap metal to specifications. This is a full time, year-round job opportunity with many opportunities for increased earnings through overtime and site-based project work. The ideal candidate is attentive, flexible, and wanting a long-term career.
We frequently operate on and service federally regulated customers that require regular and random drug and alcohol screening (including suppliers and contractors). As such, you will also be subject to an initial and then ongoing random drug and alcohol screening as a condition of your employment.
