This position is eligible to work remotely on a part-time basis.
Characteristic Duties: Under the general supervision of the Manager of Business Systems.
- Develop, maintain, and support corporate solutions using the tools of: Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint Framework, and PowerShell.
- Facilitate defining requirements for, maintaining documentation on implementing and managing the CGS electronic document structure and management system within SharePoint 365 and Microsoft Purview.
- Collaborate with the Clerk Services staff to manage site collections, document libraries, workflows, and permissions, ensuring the proper configuration of access and collaboration tools.
- Manage, configure, and support Cybersecurity of electronic records using Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies to classify, retain, and protect sensitive information stored within the SharePoint Framework.
- Create and monitor audit logs, identifying potential risks, unauthorized access attempts, requirements definition, recommend design, and to implement corporate workflow automation solutions in the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Troubleshoot, provide a troubleshooting knowledge base for others, and resolve technical issues related to corporate workflow automation solutions implemented in the Microsoft Power Platform and the CGS electronic document management system implemented in SharePoint and Purview.
- Provide expertise, guidance, and facilitate enabling other staff to build standard, sustainable, and secure Power Platform and SharePoint solutions.
- Establish and manage mechanisms to assure sustainability of core, corporate SharePoint, and Power Platform solutions.
- Stay up to date with the latest features and best practices in SharePoint, Power Platform, Purview, and AI as it applies to these tools.
- Integrate SharePoint, Power Platform, and Purview with other software tools when required.
- Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of CGS’s Safety Manual and the applicable provincial legislation listed therein.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
- University bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology) from a recognized university with Canadian accreditation.
- Microsoft certifications in SharePoint, Power Platform, and Purview considered an asset.
- Over two and one-half (2½) years up to and including five (5) years of diversified experience in a SharePoint administration, Microsoft 365 Solution architecture, or related technical role, which includes a minimum two (2) years of experience in a SharePoint ONLINE administration role.
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Power Platform development tools including REST API/Graph API, Microsoft Dataverse, and PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of security, compliance, and governance models within M365 and SharePoint.
- Proficient in Microsoft Power Platform tools (e.g., Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).
- Proficient with Microsoft Purview for data governance and compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent use of English; verbally and in writing.
- Satisfactory health, attendance, and former employment history.

Development opportunity range of pay: $43.60 to $53.53 per hour (subject to review). The successful candidate will be paid at the reduced range until the minimum qualifications have been met.
