Job summary

Brandt Group of Companies in Regina, SK, is seeking an organized accounting professional to join our finance team. You will review sales docs, process transactions, and ensure accuracy of revenue, invoicing, and inventory records.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of accounting experience, competency in reconciliations, Excel, and a commitment to confidentiality and strong cross‑functional collaboration with branches, sales, and finance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
  • Proficiency with reconciliations and financial transactions.
  • Strong Excel skills and data integrity focus.
  • Ability to understand and apply program requirements and guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Review and validate equipment sales documentation for completeness and controls.
  • Process and record equipment sales transactions with proper revenue recognition and invoicing.
  • Calculate, reconcile, and maximize manufacturer incentives, rebates and discounts per program rules.
  • Review and maintain equipment costing information.
  • Prepare, post and reconcile equipment-related accruals and adjusting journal entries.
  • Generate customer invoices and verify accuracy before posting.
  • Process trade-in transactions and record inventory additions.
  • Perform monthly GL reconciliations and investigate variances.
  • Review and validate sales commission calculations for accuracy.
  • Maintain sales databases and ensure data integrity for financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with branches, sales, and finance to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely settlements.
  • Adhere to accounting policies, internal controls and confidentiality.

What You Will Be Responsible For
  • Review and validate equipment sales documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal controls.
  • Process and record equipment sales transactions, ensuring proper revenue recognition and invoicing.

  • Maintain sales databases, ensuring data integrity and accurate financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with branch personnel, sales teams, and finance departments to resolve transaction discrepancies and ensure timely settlement processing.
  • Adhere to company accounting policies, internal controls, and confidentiality requirements.
What We Look For
  • Minimum 2 years of accounting experience. Preference will be given to a candidate with an accounting diploma or working towards one.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
