Job summary

British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI) is seeking a Platform Engineer ServiceNow co-op/intern to support our ITSM team and internal clients in Victoria, BC. You will help configure workflows, maintain documentation, and analyze platform usage to optimize ServiceNow.

The role offers hands-on experience with IT service management, platform upgrades, and automation in a collaborative environment, with in-person work at the Victoria office and some remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• University-level knowledge in CS/Math.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic IT concepts and ITSM familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Assist the team with configuring workflows, forms, and modules in the ServiceNow platform to meet business needs.
• Review and improve operational documents to ensure accuracy and alignment with current processes.
• Work on creating and analyzing reports to provide insights and improve the usability of the ServiceNow platform.
• Participate in platform upgrades, including testing to ensure compatibility and seamless transitions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by users to ensure smooth operation of the platform.
• Collaborate with team members to design and implement automated workflows that improve operational efficiency.
