Job summary

ABL Employment is seeking an on‑the‑road Service Technician to support a driver with service calls for a large prefab modular building company across office, classroom, medical, laboratory and restroom environments. You will shadow experienced techs, perform door/window replacements and basic plumbing, and ensure safety protocols on site.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, clear communication, and the ability to drive a service truck. Hours are full‑time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work 40 hours per week on SIN long term.
• Must have strong customer service and communication skills.
• Must hold a G licence, have a clear driving abstract and CVOR.

Responsibilities

• Job shadowing with current service tech
• Changing out doors and windows, door handles, deadbolts
• Replacing flooring, siding or wall panels
• Performing some plumbing work
• On‑the‑spot problem solving
• Tracking all labour hours and materials used
• Following all company and customer job‑site health and safety protocols
• Communicating directly with customers on site
• For full‑time potential, maintaining a clean driving abstract and ability to drive a service truck
• Drug and alcohol testing required for permanent hire once hours are fulfilled
