Job summary

Norvex Canada is seeking a Road Service Technician to maintain, diagnose, inspect, and repair specialized equipment directly at customer locations. You will serve as an ambassador by delivering safe, efficient, and professional service interventions.

Responsibilities include traveling to customer sites, diagnosing issues for quotes, performing repairs within quoted scopes and time frames, calibrating machines, conducting preventive maintenance, completing service reports, and coordinating with

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in construction equipment mechanics.
  • Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical knowledge.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic diagrams.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and precision.
  • Organized, autonomous, resourceful, and able to manage priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing issues and determining necessary repairs for quote preparation.
  • Carrying out repairs in accordance with quotes and within allocated time frames.
  • Adjusting settings and calibrating various machines.
  • Performing annual mechanical inspections and preventive maintenance.
  • Completing repair, inspection, and preventive maintenance reports following the 2C method and attaching required photos.
  • Immediately reporting any discrepancies with the quote to the immediate supervisor.
  • Communicating safety concerns to the immediate supervisor.
  • Adding all necessary parts (taken from the truck inventory) to work orders for repairs not initially included in the quote.
  • Returning empty bins and unused parts to the parts department for inventory restocking.
  • Managing and assisting with mobile unit inventory.
