Job summary

Go Auto is seeking an Automotive Service Technician for Airdrie Honda. You will diagnose, service, and repair customer vehicles in a busy, well-supported service department with a strong team focus and customer-centric experience.

You will complete repairs to standards, road-test for diagnostics, document clearly, and communicate additional needed work. Journeyman/Red Seal preferred; apprentices considered; dealership and import-brand experience are assets.

Qualifications

• Journeyman/Red Seal certification preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills required.
• Reliable attendance and professional attitude.
• Dealership experience is a strong asset.
• Import brand experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair customer vehicles per manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on brakes, steering, suspension, drivetrain, electrical, cooling, and climate control systems.
• Road test vehicles for diagnostic and quality control purposes.
• Document repairs clearly with proper notes on condition, cause, and correction.
• Identify and communicate additional repairs or maintenance to customers.
• Work closely with Service Advisors, Parts, and other technicians to keep workflow moving.
• Follow warranty, recall, safety, and dealership repair procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area.
• Support a team-first culture built on trust and teamwork.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, service, and repair customer vehicles according to manufacturer and dealership standards
• Perform maintenance and repairs on brakes, steering, suspension, drivetrain, electrical, cooling, climate control, and related systems
• Road test vehicles for diagnostic and quality control purposes
• Complete work safely, accurately, and efficiently
• Document repairs clearly using proper condition, cause, and correction notes
• Identify and communicate additional recommended repairs or maintenance
• Work closely with Service Advisors, Parts, and other technicians to keep workflow moving
• Follow warranty, recall, safety, and dealership repair procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area
• Support a team-first culture built on being trustworthy, a team player, and happy to help

What You Bring

• Automotive service technician experience
• Journeyman/Red Seal certification preferred
• Strong apprentice-level candidates may also be considered
• Dealership experience is a strong asset
• Import brand experience is an asset

• Good documentation habits and attention to detail
• Experience with CDK or a similar dealership system is an asset
• Own tools required to perform automotive service and repair work
