Sunbelt Rentals, the fastest growing rental business in North America, is seeking a Service Technician. In this role, you will enhance customer service by performing preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime. You will maintain and repair various types of equipment offered by Sunbelt, especially aerial lift equipment, including diagnosing complex problems while adhering to all safety protocols.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Service equipment as required to prevent unnecessary downtime and ensure proper functioning when leaving the shop
• Dismantle, reassemble, and rebuild equipment as needed
• Diagnose and repair mechanical equipment problems
• Fabricate parts as necessary
• Perform safety inspections on equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Comply with all safety requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Technical degree preferred
• 3+ years’ experience with heavy/diesel equipment or industrial lift repairs
• Experience with aerial lifts (e.g., JLG, Genie)
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and flexibly
• High safety-awareness
• Knowledge of equipment design and safety standards

Base Pay Range

$25.18 - $36.19
