Job summary

Alpine, a division of Sani Marc, is seeking a Service Technician for the London, Ontario area. This permanent, full-time role involves preventive maintenance, equipment installation, and on-site service for commercial customers.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, mechanical aptitude, a valid driver’s license, and basic MS Office skills. Some sales experience and ability to work on-call weekends are a plus. A company vehicle, phone, and tablet are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• High mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
• Experience with MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint) and basic apps.
• Some sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute the Preventive Maintenance Plan for assigned customers.
• Ensure proper cleanliness and sanitation programs for each customer.
• Participate in a rotational on-call emergency schedule.
• Complete accurate electronic service reports.
• Train customers on new products and equipment.
• Install and adjust dishwashers and related equipment per operating parameters.

Alpine, a division of Sani Marc, is a specialized business focused on cleaning and sanitation solutions for the foodservice, hospitality, and related industries in Ontario and beyond. Alpine manufactures and distributes a comprehensive range of cleaning products, including warewashing and laundry chemicals, offers dishwasher and glassware rental programs, and provides equipment maintenance services tailored to commercial customers.

The Service Technician will be responsible for completion of a regimented Preventative Maintenance schedule within existing customers andhelping to drive new sales with customers in the London/Windsor area.The right individual will be a self motivator to complete each set of weekly tasks and maintaining the relationships and business within our existing accounts.

Responsibilities

As a member of the Territory Manager’s team, the Service Technician provides preventive maintenance, emergency service, equipment installation, and product expertise to meet and exceed customer expectations. Key responsibilities include:

• Executing the Preventive Maintenance Plan;
• Ensuring proper cleanliness and sanitation programs are in place for each customer;
• Participating in a rotational emergency on-call schedule;
• Completing accurate electronic service reports;
• Training customers on new products and equipment;
• Performing installations of new or replacement dishwashers and other systems, and adjusting equipment to specific operating parameters.

Requirements

To perform you must :

• High school diploma or equivalent;
• Valid drivers license and clean drivers abstract;
• High degree of mechanical aptitude;
• Ability to use hand tools;
• Some sales experience;
• Electronic technology experience (excel, word, power point, apps);
• Ability to work rotational on call weekends.
