Job summary

Sani Marc Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to perform installation, maintenance and on-site service for clients in the Ottawa/Gatineau area.

You will travel to client sites to install, repair and support agri-food and health sector equipment, with company-provided vehicle, tools and training. The role requires teamwork, strong communication, and organizational skills, plus a valid driver’s license; bilingual English/French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Teamwork and initiative are required.

• Post-secondary courses in Electro-Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechanics preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Description:

Reporting to the Technical Services Supervisor, you will need to travel to our clients in the agri-food and health sectors in the Ottawa/Gatineau area. You will handle the installation, repair, and after-sales service of a variety of products such as hand soap dispensers, cleaning product diluters, industrial sanitation system installations, and more.

We provide the vehicle, tools, uniform, and training.

Responsibilities:

• Install systems and equipment at clients' locations;
• Do internal work to help other departments;
• Diagnose problems or malfunctions, determine corrective actions, and repair systems and equipment in the agri-food industry;
• Handle service calls and assess clients' needs;
• Communicate the work schedule and follow-up with clients;
• Do internal work to help other departments;
• Provide value-added after-sales service;

Requirements:

• Know how to work in a team, demonstrate initiative and be solutions-oriented
• Have good communication skills and be customer-oriented
• Be incredibly organized and understand processes thoroughly
• Possess post-secondary courses in Electro-Mechanical, Electricity and/or Mechanics would be considered an asset;
• Have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record;
• Be able to lift up to a hundred (100) pounds (battery replacement, equipment loading and offloading);
• Being bilingual in English/French to meet customer needs
