Beyond Bilingual Inc. seeks a skilled field service technician to perform on-site maintenance and repairs for commercial kitchen equipment and related systems. The role requires hands-on expertise and the ability to travel across an assigned territory, with on-call rotation and overtime as needed.

Fluent English is required, with a strong focus on customer service, safety, and reliability. Training will be provided; a valid driver’s licence is essential for travel to customer sites.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years of hands-on service in commercial kitchen or related equipment.
• G2 Gas licence is an asset.
• Experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment is highly desirable.
• Appliance Technician certification is considered.
• Strong troubleshooting across electrical, mechanical, plumbing and gas systems.
• DEP or diploma in a related technical discipline is an asset.
• Equivalent hands-on experience acceptable.

Hours: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM + Overtime- depends they can be on call: time and half

Base Salary: $24 – $40.21/hour- this includes premiums

Increase after 3 months.

Overtime paid daily after 8 hours (1.5x for first 4 OT hours, 2x after that)

Responsibilities

• Perform field service on-site
• Attend training programs as required
• Occasionally support in sales demos or contract acquisition
• Available for OT and on-call as needed

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands‑on technical service, maintenance or repair experience within commercial kitchen equipment, commercial coffee machines, food-service equipment, appliance repair, electromechanical equipment or a closely related technical service environment.
• G2 Gas licence is an asset.
• Previous experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment is highly desirable.
• Candidates with an Appliance Technician certification and strong experience working within a fast‑paced appliance service or repair environment will also be considered.
• Strong hands‑on troubleshooting capabilities involving electrical, mechanical, plumbing and gas systems.
• DEP in Electromechanics, or a diploma/certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Electromechanical, Appliance Service/Repair or a related technical discipline, is an asset.
• Equivalent hands‑on technical experience will also be considered.
• Ability to diagnose equipment problems and perform repairs, adjustments, alignments and calibrations.
• Comfortable working independently and travelling throughout an assigned service territory.
• Strong customer‑service, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Valid driver's licence with an excellent driving record.
• Willing and able to travel for technical training as required.
• Available for overtime and participation in the on‑call rotation.
