Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a field service technician to perform maintenance, repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer sites in Alberta. The role requires diagnosing electro-mechanical devices, wiring, and relay logic while ensuring high-quality customer interactions.

The technician works with aluminum frames, glazing, hardware, and low-voltage wiring, carries out on-call rotations after training, and lifts components weighing up to 110 pounds with proper tools and safety

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing electro-mechanical devices.
• Must obtain AAADM certification within twelve (12) months of employment and maintain certification as required.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage (120v) wiring.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools effectively.
• Ability to occasionally lift, position, and install door components weighing up to 110 pounds with lifting aids, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Ability to occasionally lift, position, and install door components weighing up to 110 pounds with lifting aids, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to climb ladders, kneel, drive, and work in various positions as required
