Job summary

Fountain Tire Edson is seeking a friendly, knowledgeable Service Manager to lead the service department in delivering quality automotive and tire services while maximizing productivity and customer satisfaction.

The role includes setting standards, coordinating bookings, providing quotes, and guiding technicians to meet company expectations. Strong leadership and a passion for service excellence are essential for growth within the Fountain Tire network.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of automotive industry experience.
• Strong leadership and operations focus.
• Proficient in service quoting and customer follow-up.
• Experience with commercial vehicle inspection and out-of-province inspections.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and managing mechanical and tire services.
• Setting quality standards and maintaining the quality of all shop activities.
• Creating work orders and arranging bookings and communicating them to the technicians.
• Provide service quotes and receive customer authorization for work to be performed on vehicles, finalize sales, and complete customer follow up.
• Recommend tire service, specialty tire service, wheel and mechanical service to customers.
• Ensuring completion of shop maintenance and repair work.
• Addressing customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous, professional manner.
• Advising technicians of work that must be completed.
• Ensuring technicians compliance with company standards regarding quality, safety, and customer service.
• Managing the morale in the shop by setting and demonstrating a strong business ethic for dealing with employees, suppliers and customers.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the shop.
