Job summary

Independent Grocers Alliance is seeking a service manager in Terrebonne, QC, to oversee department operations, including purchasing, inventory, and pricing. You will lead, train, and motivate a team while ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing, inventory, P.L.U. price lists and meet sales per hour/person to ensure business readiness
• Develop and manage policies and procedures, adhere to government hygiene and occupational health and safety standards and ensure they are consistently applied by all department employees
• Select, train, evaluate and motivate the members of the team
• Carry out cash register accounting, including money transfers, deposits, controls, and weekly verifications

As a department manager, you will :

• carry out the various operations related to the accounting of the cash registers (money transfers, deposits, controls, weekly verifications, etc.)
