A typical day as a department manager includes:

• Managing purchasing, inventory, P.L.U. price lists, and meeting sales targets per hour/person to ensure business readiness;
• Developing and managing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with government hygiene and occupational health and safety standards;
• Selecting, training, evaluating, and motivating team members with competent personnel;
• Handling cash register operations, including money transfers, deposits, controls, and weekly verifications.
