Job summary

WD Co-Auto is seeking a Service Manager to plan, organize, and direct the repair and maintenance of owner-supplied vehicle service equipment. This is an in-office role in Edmonton or Calgary.

You will lead the Field Service team across BC & Alberta, manage KPI reporting, own the warranty program with vendors, and hire technicians to support growth and increased service sales.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field service management or supervision.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Experience with automotive dealerships fixed operations preferred.
• Exposure to automotive service equipment and field service operations.
• Ability to hire and develop service technicians.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Service Coordinator and Field Service Technicians across BC & Alberta, including KPI reporting and efficiency tracking.
• Own the warranty program, collaborating with vendors to ensure timely completion and invoicing.
• Provide technical support to Outside Sales Reps and elevated customer service on work completed by the Service Department.
• Hire new Service Technicians as needed to support departmental growth and increased service sales.

WD Co-Auto is seeking a Service Manager to plan, organize, and direct the repair and maintenance of owner-supplied vehicle service equipment. This is a great opportunity to leave your mark on a growing Field Service Department.

Location:

• This is a permanent, full-time role is in-officein Edmonton or Calgary

What You’ll Do:

• Manage the Service Coordinator and Field Service Technicians in BC & Alberta including reporting on KPI's & Efficiency Rates
• Own the Company's Warranty Program working with Vendors to ensure timely completion and invoicing
• Provide Technical Support to Outside Sales Reps and elevated Customer Service on work completed by the Service Deparment
• Hire new Service Technicians as needed for departmental growth and increased service Sales

What You’ll Bring:

• 5+ Years of Field Service Team Management and/or Supervision
• Strong understanding of Field Service including workforce planning, cost, and people management
• Exceptional Communication, Organization, and Time Management skills
• Leadership & Learning mindset with a focus on growth and development
• Current Drivers License and clean abstract
• Experience working with Automotive Dealership (especially Fixed Operations)
• Exposure to Automotive Service Equipment
