Job summary

Houle Electric Canada is seeking a Service Coordinator for the Security Technology team to provide exceptional customer service and administrative support. You will dispatch, coordinate, and support technical teams delivering security services across Victoria or Burnaby offices.

This non-IT role emphasizes coordination, scheduling, and billing collaboration with our service staff, with hybrid work options for eligible roles. Pay range $50,000-$65,000, plus full benefits and an annual incentive.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in administrative support coordinating service requests and triaging calls, dispatching technicians.
• Knowledge of Alarm, Fire Monitoring, CCTV, and Access Control systems.
• Experience with material ordering, tracking, billing, and reporting.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); familiarity with Procore, JDE and service management software is an asset.
• Strong written and verbal communication; highly organized with attention to detail.

• Prepare list of follow up recommended service actions for customers.

About this role

We are recruiting for a Service Coordinator to join our Security Technology team in our Victoria or Burnaby office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support while dispatching, coordinating, and supporting technical teams in the delivery of technical support services for our valued customers.

Please note, this is NOT an INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY role.

Your responsibilities

• Provide consistent, high quality customer service and administrative support to the security Service Team
• Receive phone calls and emails from customers requesting service work

Your experience and skills

• High School Diploma
• 2+ years' experience in a similar administrative support role coordinating service requests and triaging calls, and dispatching technicians
• Knowledge of Alarm, Fire Monitoring, CCTV, and Access Control systems
• Experience with material ordering, tracking, billing, and reporting
• Flexible with the proven ability to multitask in a changing, fast-paced environment
• Excellent computer skills using MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel). Experience with Procore, JDE, and Service Management software systems, are assets
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to prioritize work
• Positive attitude with a patient and calm nature

Pay range: $50,000-$65,000. We offer a competitive total compensation package that includes company matched RRSP, full benefits package and the ability to participate in an annual incentive/bonus program. Actual salary will be commensurate with experience, skills and overall match to the position offered.
