Job summary

Houle is seeking a Service Coordinator to join the Security Technology team in Burnaby or Victoria. You will deliver excellent customer service and provide administrative support while dispatching and coordinating our technical teams to deliver service for our customers.

The role focuses on coordinating service requests for alarm, fire monitoring, CCTV, and access control systems, handling scheduling, billing coordination, and documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2+ years of administrative support coordinating service requests and dispatching technicians.
• Knowledge of Alarm, Fire Monitoring, CCTV, and Access Control systems.
• Experience with material ordering, tracking, billing, and reporting.
• Strong communication and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Procore, JDE, and Service Management software a plus.

About this role

We are recruiting for a Service Coordinator to join our Security Technology team in our Burnaby or Victoriaoffice.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support while dispatching, coordinating, and supporting technical teams in the delivery of technical support services for our valued customers.

Please note, this is NOT an INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY role.

Your responsibilities

• Provide consistent, high quality customer service and administrative support to the security Service Team
• Receive phone calls and emails from customers requesting service work
• Collaborate with customers to complete initial investigation and assess support requests, and determine solutions
• Prioritize service requests, schedule and dispatch security service technicians
• Coordinate with the Billing team to resolve discrepancies or missing information
• Track and expedite material orders as required
• Upload service project documentation into system
• Coordinate and follow up with technical staff to complete work orders
• Prepare list of follow up recommended service actions for customers

Your experience and skills

• High School Diploma
• 2+ years' experience in a similar administrative support role coordinating service requests and triaging calls, and dispatching technicians
• Knowledge of Alarm, Fire Monitoring, CCTV, and Access Control systems
• Experience with material ordering, tracking, billing, and reporting
• Flexible with the proven ability to multitask in a changing, fast-paced environment
• Excellent computer skills using MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel). Experience with Procore, JDE, and Service Management software systems, are assets
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to prioritize work
• Positive attitude with a patient and calm nature

Pay range: $50,000-$65,000. We offer a competitive total compensation package that includes company matched RRSP, full benefits package and the ability to participate in an annual incentive/bonus program.
