What Will You Do?

Seeking a Service Center Operations Manager to oversee daily planning, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and service activities. Responsible for efficient use of materials, equipment, personnel, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement to meet customer and business needs.

Your Day To Day Activities Will Be...

  • Ensure health and safety standards across the site by implementing HSE procedures.
  • Promote continuous improvement to meet customer and business demands.
  • Manage rebuild and manufacturing projects to meet specifications and requirements.
  • Handle proposals related to parts and rebuilds, ensuring timely delivery and scope compliance.
  • Support business development in new markets aligned with company goals.
  • Maintain reporting, financial controls, and KPIs to safeguard business interests.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and ensure policy compliance.
  • Coordinate with the Aftermarket team on project deliverables and customer requirements.
  • Act as a contractual liaison between the company and customers, managing variations.
  • Manage inventory to meet customer needs and adjust levels as needed.
  • Develop talent within the department and collaborate with HR on employee relations.

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

  • Experience with continuous improvement processes.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing performance indicators.
  • Understanding of production principles, inventory management, quality systems, and purchasing.
  • Basic financial knowledge.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Leadership and management capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams.
  • Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.

Your Experience Should Be…

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or equivalent.
