Job summary

Jim Pattison Toyota on Regent is seeking a dependable Lot Attendant to keep the lot organized, vehicles clean, and inventory ready to present to customers. You’ll support the Sales department and help create a positive customer experience in a fast-paced dealership environment.

This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with physical duties including vehicle cleaning, moving inventory, and photographing vehicles for postings.

Qualifications

• A valid MB Driver’s license is required, including a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract report
• Previous experience in the automotive industry is considered a strong asset
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmissions
• Strong customer-service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of all vehicle inventory, including exterior washing and interior cleaning
• Ensure vehicles are displayed to create a positive first impression for customers
• Maneuver, arrange, and relocate inventory and guest vehicles with care
• Capture photos of pre-owned inventory and assist with online postings
• Report potential issues with vehicles or the dealership promptly
• Safe use of tools, equipment, and cleaning supplies
• Maintain confidentiality of company and customer information
• Support a positive, engaging working environment
• Other duties as assigned

Jim Pattison Toyota on Regent is looking for a dependable, motivated, and detail-orientedLot Attendantto join our dealership team. In this role, you’ll provide essential support to our Sales department by keeping the lot organized, vehicles clean, and inventory ready to be presented to customers.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong eye for detail, and understands the importance of creating a positive customer experience. This position is an excellent opportunity to get started in the automotive industry, gain valuable dealership experience, and build a path toward future career growth and advancement.

Schedule : This is a Monday through Friday, permanent role of 40 hours per week. The regularly scheduled hours will be 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

A Day in the Life

• Maintain and monitor the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of all vehicle inventory, including exterior washing and interior cleaning
• Ensure vehicles are displayed in a way that creates a positive first impression for customers
• Maneuver, arrange, and relocate inventory and guest vehicles with care
• Capture clear, appealing photos of pre-owned vehicle inventory and assist with posting them online
• Ensure any potential issues with vehicles or the dealership property are promptly reported
• Safe use of tools, equipment, and cleaning supplies
• Ensure a high degree of confidentiality with company and customer information
• Participate in maintaining a supportive and engaging working environment
• Other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• This is a physically active role and requires the following:
  • Frequent walking throughout the dealership building and lot
  • Walking and/or standing for long periods
  • Frequent operation of automatic and manual transmission vehicles
  • Washing vehicles, which may include use of various cleaning products and frequent bending, crouching, and reaching
  • Significant time spent outdoors in various weather, including sun, rain, wind, snow, cold, and heat. Weather conditions are monitored for safety as needed
